Zurich Insurance Launches Zurich Edge Assist: Powering seamless omnichannel experiences across Asia Pacific

Singapore, 10 November 2025 - Zurich Insurance Asia Pacific today announced the launch of Zurich Edge Assist, a new assisted sales and servicing module of the Zurich Edge Platform (ZEP). Purpose-built in collaboration with agents & brokers, Zurich Edge Assist empowers intermediaries and Zurich sales, servicing and claims teams with a smarter, faster, and more connected way to maximize performance and provide superior customer experiences.

Streamlining Sales and Servicing in One Unified Platform
Zurich Edge Assist brings together sales, servicing, and claims across digital and offline channels into a single, intuitive interface - eliminating manual handoffs and reducing duplication. This allows intermediaries to focus on what matters most: delivering expert, personalized advice to customers. With real-time visibility into customer activity, every lead and interaction is tracked and prioritized, ensuring no sales opportunity is missed and every customer receives consistent, high-quality service.

Notably, Zurich Edge Assist operates as a unified platform for both internal and external users, serving as a comprehensive one-stop shop where tailored access and functionality are enabled according to each user’s role. Built-in logic streamlines underwriting referrals and operational workflows, ensuring that customers receive best-in-class experiences at each stage pf their insurance journey.

Key Features of Zurich Edge Assist:
Zurich Edge Assist delivers a robust set of features designed to enhance intermediary productivity and customer engagement—some available now, and others actively in development as part of its roadmap:

  • Smarter Lead Retention (Available Now): Automatically prioritizes and assigns quotes and customer interactions to the right team members, enabling faster follow-ups and maximizing conversion opportunities.
  • Complete Customer View (Available Now): Offers a 360-degree view of customer profiles and policies, with real-time data syncing across channels. This ensures intermediaries can seamlessly continue conversations without asking customers to repeat information.
  • Flexible Commissions and Payments (Available Now): Supports multiple commission structures and payment options, giving intermediaries the flexibility to align with diverse sales strategies and customer preferences.
  • Simplified Task Tracking (In Development): Personalized dashboards and integrated diary functions will allow agents to manage appointments, tasks, and follow-ups from a single, streamlined view.
  • Dynamic Recommendations (In Development): AI-powered suggestions will help agents match customers with the most relevant products quickly and confidently, enhancing personalization and speed to serve.

Scalable Across Markets, Seamless for Partners
Designed with a multi-market, multi-product architecture, the platform is built to adapt to the needs of local markets, supporting a wide range of insurance propositions. Likewise, ZEP’s 100% cloud-native tech stack and readily available APIs ensures a high degree of integration flexibility for partners. Whether through seamless API connections with agent portals and banking systems or via white-labeled solutions, the platform ensures easy onboarding with existing systems - enabling faster deployment and a consistent experience across channels and markets.

Zurich Edge Assist has been launched in Indonesia with individual agents and travel agents amongst the first intermediaries to use the platform. This is the first step in a broader roadmap, with further deliveries planned for additional markets, including India, Japan and Malaysia, and an expanded product and features set through the end of 2025 and into 2026.
